Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location - West Branch, Michigan Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 guaranteed hours per week) On-Call: No Weekend: No Contract Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week Job Description:- We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of advanced technical procedures requiring independent judgment, initiative, and expertise in Nuclear Medicine. Key Responsibilities:- Inject and administer radiopharmaceuticals, calculate and assay activities, and maintain accurate dose records. Prepare, measure, and perform quality control of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes. Position patients and operate Nuclear Medicine equipment, including gamma cameras (planar and SPECT), PET scanners, and radiation detectors. Monitor patients during procedures while ensuring accurate acquisition of imaging data. Start and manage IV access with proper site selection and aseptic techniques. Conduct and document required quality control tests on all Nuclear Medicine equipment. Follow strict radiation safety guidelines, adhering to ALARA principles and NRC regulations. Requirements:- Minimum 2+ years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience (required) ARRT (N) or CNMT certification (required) BLS (AHA) certification (required) Familiarity with Radiology Information System (RIS) and Hospital Information System (HIS) preferred Pay - $65 - $70 *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
