This full-time position offers a stable work environment with no on-call requirements, allowing you to focus on providing excellent patient care. The practice emphasizes comprehensive outpatient treatment, with around 20-25 patients seen daily.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide full-time radiation oncology services with scheduled hours from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.
- Manage outpatient treatment visits, follow-ups, and consultations, averaging 20-25 patients daily.
- Perform and oversee required radiation procedures, including but not limited to:
- Conventional Radiotherapy
- 3D Radiotherapy
- IMRT, IGRT, and 3D-CRT External Beam Radiation
- Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery
- Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
- Utilize Aria EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active Iowa medical license or IMLC - REQUIRED
- COVID vaccination - REQUIRED
- Ability to start ASAP upon credentialing (30-60 days) - REQUIRED
- Availability to provide coverage for 4-week stretches - REQUIRED
- Clean background and malpractice history - REQUIRED
- Experience with Aria documentation - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Local or within driving distance to Dubuque - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
- Active State License (IA) or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
