PM&R Locum Physician - Acute Rehab Unit - Muncie, IN - $250/hr

We're looking for a Board Eligible (BE) Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician for an ongoing, no-call opportunity, starting January 5, 2026 . This is a great chance to join a collaborative team and provide crucial care in a dedicated rehab unit.

Opportunity Highlights

• Specialty: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: No Call
• Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM daily.
• Work Environment: You will be covering our 16-bed Acute Rehab Unit , which is located inside Hospital. You will be supported by a great multidisciplinary team.
• Patient Care: You will be responsible for the medical management of patients on the unit. All medical management outside of specialty needs is covered by the hospitalist.
• Patient Volume: The average daily census is 12 patients .
• EMR System: We utilize Cerner for our electronic medical records.
  • All medical management outside of specialty need is covered by the hospitalist.
  • Located inside of a Hospital and supported by a great multidisciplinary team.
  • Per call with the HCO providers must be participating with Medicare to be considered.

Requirements:

• • Minimum Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Active IN or IMLC with LOQ in hand
  • Active BLS Certification
