Facility:
This is a modern urgent care center part of a larger network of state-of-the-art facilities serving the Springfield community. The center features 5 beds, on-site laboratory services, mobile X-ray capabilities, and EKG equipment in a beautiful, contemporary setting designed to provide efficient patient care.
Opportunity:
Board Certified/Eligible - Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
Job Details:
• Provide urgent care services at state-of-the-art centers with 30-50 patient encounters per shift • Work with a support team including medical assistants and radiology technicians • Utilize onsite lab, mobile X-Ray, and EKGs in beautiful, modern facilities • Must be residency trained and ABMS or AOB certified (within 5 years of residency) • Must be able to see patients of all ages, particularly infant through adolescent age groups • Provide proof of 50 patient encounters in the past 12 months relevant to privileges requested • Maintain current BLS certification (AHA only), with preference for ACLS and PALS • Be comfortable with urgent care procedures: sutures, wound care, incision and draining, splinting, x-rays, EKGs, drawing blood • Work independently without nurse support • Epic EMR experience preferred • 12-hour shifts with no overtime granted • Preference given to providers willing to work weekends and holidays • Immediate need specifically for December, January, and February coverage • Extended credentialing timeframe of 90-120 days, longer for physicians with lengthy resumes
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
