Locums - Springfield, Oregon, Interventional Cardiology Opening

Clinical Role

  • Start Date: December 15, 2025

  • Credentialing: Fast track available (30-60 days)

  • Schedule:

  • Day shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Cath Lab & Clinic)

  • Evening call: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM while covering Cath Lab/Clinic

  • Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM (1:3 rotation)

  • Call Requirements: Up to 1:3

  • Weekly Breakdown:

  • 1-2 Cath Lab days

  • 2-3 Clinic days

  • 1-2 nights of backup call per week

  • Practice Setting: Clinic located within the main hospital & hospital-based responsibilities

  • Privileges: Both hospital and clinic required

    Clinical Details

    • Patient Population: Adults & Geriatric

    • Average Volume: 15 clinic patients/day; rounding on 10-20 patients/day

    • Required Procedures:

    • Cardiac Catheterization

    • Interventional Cardiology Procedures

    • Direct Current Cardioversion (DCCVs)

    • Temporary Pacemaker Placement (as needed)

  • Coverage Model: Sometimes solo provider, but supported by General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Cardiac Electrophysiology colleagues

  • EMR: Epic

    Licensure

    • Active Oregon license strongly preferred

    • Will consider providers needing to reactivate
