Board Certification Eligible - Surgery General
Job Details:
• Provide cardiac thoracic services to a community hospital and corresponding clinic• Must possess efficient surgical skills for CVOR and vascular surgery• Required to be independent with endoscopic and vessel harvesting including radial• Handle approximately 5 patient encounters per shift• Perform various general surgery procedures for adult, pediatric, and neonate patients• Conduct laparoscopic surgeries including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication• Perform head/neck surgery (including thyroid), chest wall/pleural procedures, and breast surgery• Manage obstetric & gynecologic surgeries including cesarean section, D&C, and hysterectomy• Conduct liver surgery and GI endoscopy (upper and lower)• Handle minor orthopedics, hand surgery, ventilation management, and chest tube insertion• Perform central line insertion, PA catheter placement, and vascular surgery procedures• Experience with aneurysm repairs (thoracic and abdominal), arterial bypass, peripheral procedures, and vascular access devices• Capable of performing various pediatric surgeries including artesias, abdominal wall defects, and diaphragmatic hernia• Must have an active Pennsylvania medical license• BLS certification required• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-120 days
