Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our Cytology Laboratory team in Gainesville, FL. This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable work-life balance.
Responsibilities:

Perform microscopic examination of cytologic specimens to detect abnormalities and diseases.

Prepare and evaluate cytology slides with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure quality diagnostic results.

Maintain compliance with all laboratory safety and regulatory standards.

Document findings and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:

Certification as a Cytotechnologist (ASCP or equivalent).

Proven experience working in a clinical cytology laboratory preferred.

Strong knowledge of cytology techniques and lab safety protocols.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
