Physician Assistant Neonatology

Full-Time Grand Rapids & Muskegon, Michigan

A respected regional health system in West Michigan is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) with neonatology fellowship training to join its Neonatal Intensive Care team, providing expert care across two hospital sites:

  • Grand Rapids: 15-bed Level III NICU

  • Muskegon: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery

Job Description
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care to neonates in Level III & II NICUs

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other multidisciplinary providers

  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of junior providers and trainees

  • Document patient care and clinical activities in Epic EMR

  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as needed

  • Support community health programs related to neonatal care

  • Maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications

Qualifications
  • Board Certified Physician Assistant with Neonatology fellowship training Required

  • Active Michigan license & DEA Required

  • Current ACLS & BLS Required

  • Relevant NICU clinical experience Highly Preferred
