Critical Care PA Locums - Louisiana, No Call or Nights

Highlights

- Ongoing blocks or PRN available
Practice Setting
- Inpatient-only CTICU at an academic center
- Supported by hospitalists, cardiac surgeons, and intensivists
- Adult patient population
- EPIC charting system
Schedule
- Full-time, PRN, or 7-on/7-off coverage
- Minimum 1-week commitment
- Manage 8-10 patients per shift, 1-2 admits daily
- Daily admit duties alternate with other teams
Cases and Procedures
- ECMO and transplant (heart/lung)
- Vent management, central and arterial line placement required
- Must be confident handling high-acuity patients independently
Requirements
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- Louisiana license required
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
