Position: RN – Hybrid Cath Lab/OR

Shift Details:

• 4x10s (10-hour variable shifts, typically 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Weekend rotation required (every other or every third weekend)
• On-call required: 24-hour coverage, usually 1–2 times per week
• Holiday coverage: likely every other holiday
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information:

• Hybrid Cath Lab/OR (currently 1 room, expanding to new hybrid suite in April/May)
• 1–2 cases per day
• Case Types:
  • TAMBE (thoracoabdominal branch endoprosthesis)
  • TCAR (transcarotid arterial revascularization)
  • TEVAR (thoracic endovascular aortic repair)
  • TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve repair)
  • TMVR (transcatheter mitral valve repair)
  • AIFF (aortoiliac femoral femoral angiogram)
  • Femoral bypass

Requirements:

RN:

• 2+ years in procedure area (ICU background required)
• Cath lab experience
• Comfortable monitoring sedation & titrating drips
• Endovascular approach experience
• BLS, ACLS required

Support & Equipment:

• Charge nurse available in Cath Lab
• EMR: Epic
• IV Pumps: Alaris
• Med Dispensing: Omnicell
• Imaging: Siemens & Philips X-ray/hemodynamic systems
• Floating: Assist within Cath Lab for peripheral & structural procedures
• Orientation: NEO + 1st week of 4x10s with a preceptor
