RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide emergency department nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgement, and leadership in planning safe patient care delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education requirements
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience levels
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Hold shift accountability for Emergency Room patient care
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, STABLE, TNCC
• Dress code requirement: Navy scrubs
• Position available due to vacant position
