to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage key financial processes and oversee a growing team, all while contributing to the success and expansion of the company.

This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, while also managing the daily, weekly, and monthly financial close processes. You’ll be working closely with multiple departments to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.. This position offers a hybrid work environment, providing you the flexibility to balance work and life.

Key Responsibilities: Daily Operations : Oversee banking activity and expense/AP postings to ensure accuracy. Weekly Tasks : Manage payroll entries, benefit changes, and 401(k) transactions. Monthly Close Process : Coordinate the monthly close process, including bank reconciliations, A/R & A/P reconciliations, and revenue accruals. Revenue cycle management, including job contract review and reconciliation Loan and debt reconciliation. Intercompany account reconciliation and maintenance. Review and analyze balance sheet accounts, sales tax calculations, and other key financial data. Manage fringe benefits and insurance programs, ensuring smooth administration.

Qualifications: Job Costing Experience – strong background required. General Ledger (GL) Experience – must be comfortable managing full-cycle accounting. Close Experience – month-end and year-end closing expertise. Construction Industry Experience – preferably with subcontractor exposure. NICR / Contract Accounting Experience – highly valuable. SAGE Intacct Experience – strongly preferred. CPA – preferred but not required. Tech-Savvy – ability to learn and optimize systems quickly. Self-Starter – proactive, independent, and driven. Process-Oriented – desire to “set things up” and improve workflows. Strong Cash Management Skills – comfortable with “pay me now” mentality and monitoring cash flow.
