Position Summary: We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead operations in our Stainless Steel Fabrication Department. This role oversees key processes including cutting (tube/sheet), punching, bending/forming, cleaning/deburring, final assembly, and quality control. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep experience in metal fabrication and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage daily and long-term production schedules. Review backlog and create job/work orders. Assess raw material and subcomponent requirements. Monitor inventory levels and support cycle and annual inventory counts. Evaluate equipment capabilities and limitations. Collaborate with HR on staffing needs, including hiring and performance management. Lead production planning meetings and communicate priorities to team members. Ensure shipping schedules are met. Track production progress using KPIs and metrics. Train and mentor associates. Recommend process and equipment improvements. Enforce safety policies and take corrective actions as needed. Monitor equipment for safety and performance. Partner with other departments to share resources and technology. Manage attendance and punctuality, and address issues proactively. Identify leadership potential and recommend promotions or role changes.

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in metal fabrication. Strong working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook). Experience with ERP and MRP systems for inventory and job order management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical Requirements: Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds. Able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Able to wear required PPE such as eye protection and protective clothing.
