As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of our commercial properties.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of problems.Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs performed.Collaborate with contractors and vendors to coordinate specialized repairs and maintenance services.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.Assist in the management of building systems, including energy management and environmental controls.Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and address their maintenance concerns professionally.Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in a related field preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in a commercial real estate settingStrong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsProficient in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipmentExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to perform tasks that may require climbing, lifting, and working in confined spacesValid driver's license and reliable transportationWillingness to be on-call for emergencies and work flexible hours, including nights and weekendsFamiliarity with safety regulations and compliance standardsBasic computer skills, including familiarity with maintenance management softwareCompensation details: 20-25 Hourly WagePI1ab796e38533-35196-38221647
