Days only - Electrical Engineer

Location: Braintree

Salary: £38,300 + 28 Days Holiday + Pension + Training Opportunities

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Day shifts only – no weekends, no nights)

Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with either the 16th, 17th or 18th Edition Electrical qualification, looking for a secure, day-based role with no shift work? This is a great opportunity to join a busy distribution centre in Braintree, working on a wide range of equipment and developing your skills further in a supportive team environment.

Permanent, full-time role (Monday–Friday)

Ongoing training and career development, including progression into refrigeration systems Your Responsibilities:

Electrical maintenance and repair of conveyors, pallet wrappers, loading bays, tail lifts, and other site equipment

Fault finding and repair on 3-phase systems, motors, gearboxes, and control panels

General building and facilities maintenance as part of the wider engineering team

Electrical installations and testing to current regulations

Working alongside mechanical engineers to ensure smooth site operations What We’re Looking For:

16th / 17th or 18th Edition qualification (essential)

Strong electrical background – ideally with 3-phase experience, but we will also consider domestic electricians with some commercial or industrial exposure

Experience in a distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing setting ()

Confident with electrical fault finding and problem solving
