Job Title: Biology Lab Technician III
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible extension)
Location: Marlborough, MA 01752
Onsite Role
Responsibilities: The Center for Biological Innovation (CBI) that utilizes in vitro and ex vivo approaches, such as biochemical, cell-based, microbial, and tissue-based assays to support the design, development and commercialization products. Candidate should have appropriate scientific experience to provide the technical support required for supporting in vitro biomedical research studies. Supporting in vitro hemocompatibility testing of blood contacting devices at the bench Following experimental protocols and executing on tasks both independently and with guidance from senior team members Assisting with preparation of data for reporting and presentation Optimizing and troubleshooting technical assays Maintaining detailed and accurate records
Education/Experience: 3 Years with Associate with Biology degree/diploma or Bachelors, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience Background in Cell Biology
Preferred: Hands-on experience in cell biology techniques, e.g. hemocompatibility testing (highly desirable), microscopy. immunostaining, flow cytometry, and/or cell culture Ability to quickly learn new techniques and adapt in a changing environment Ability to work effectively in a team setting and on an individual basis
