Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds : 10
- Patient Ratios : 1:2-3
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Charge, staff RN, US, ORT
- Type of equipment : Chorometric fetal monitor, alaris IV pump
- Documentation system: Meditech, CPN
- Scheduling requirements: 3, 12 hour day shifts
- Floating policy: Within Women’s Services only
- Patient Experience requirements: Respectful, empathetic, compassionate
Hospital Specifics-
- Certifications: Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, NRP, BLS, ACLS, STABLE
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
Advanced skills needed: High risk OB, management of hypertensive crisis, management of diabetic moms, management of Post-Partum Hemorrhage.
Procedures performed on unit: IUPC placement, FSE placement, epidurals, c/sect
Certifications Required:
Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, NRP, BLS, ACLS, STABLE
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
- Navy blue scrubs
