The Opportunity:
Finatal is partnering with a leading global investment fund that is expanding its Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) private equity platform. This is a unique opportunity to join at VP level, working alongside senior leadership to originate, execute, and manage investments across the life sciences and healthcare ecosystem.
The role offers significant responsibility for transaction leadership, portfolio value creation, and sector strategy development, with direct exposure to C-suite executives, founders, and global partners.
Responsibilities
Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of private equity investments across healthcare and life sciences Drive due diligence processes including financial modelling, market analysis, and risk assessment Manage transaction structuring, negotiations, and execution alongside internal and external stakeholders Partner with portfolio company management teams to drive growth and value creation initiatives Build and maintain senior relationships with entrepreneurs, executives, academics, and industry leaders Contribute to sector strategy, helping shape investment theses and long-term platform development
Requirements
Postgraduate qualification in life sciences, healthcare, or related discipline (MBA, PhD, or equivalent advantageous) 6–10 years of experience in private equity, growth equity, investment banking, or consulting with a healthcare / life sciences focus Proven track record of executing transactions from origination through close and portfolio management Deep knowledge of healthcare innovation, biotech, and broader life sciences industry dynamics Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage deal teams
