Project Architect

at The Switzer Group, you will play a critical leadership role in the development and execution of interior architecture projects. With 9-14 years of professional experience in architectural documentation and interior environments, you will be responsible for guiding projects from concept through construction administration. Reporting to the Project Principal, you will lead the coordination and production of detailed architectural documentation, manage consultant deliverables, and support successful implementation during field execution. Your expertise in BIM will drive collaborative workflows and ensure precision across disciplines, contributing to seamless integration of building systems. Key Responsibilities: · Attend project interviews and pitch meetings as required · Lead client meetings and stakeholder discussions during all project phases · Manage project goals, schedule, budget, and fees in coordination with clients and senior leadership · Supervise technical production efforts and oversee design documentation to ensure quality and accuracy · Prepare contract, bid, and construction documents · Coordinate and review consultants and engineering documentation · Review and redline plans and specifications for compliance with code, ADA, and constructability standards · Prepare material specifications, budgets, and construction documents for client approval Act as liaison between client, design team, consultants, and construction teams Oversee construction progress, perform site visits, and ensure compliance with regulations and design intent Conduct final punch list and project close-out activities Sign and seal drawings as required Resolve constructability, compliance, and production issues in collaboration with the Project Principal Supervise field surveys and collaborate with internal teams on project documentation Required Skills & Qualifications: Licensed architect preferred (state certification required) 9-14+ years of professional experience in architecture, with a focus on corporate interiors Proficiency in Revit/BIM required, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite a plus Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, construction methods, and materials Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including consultants and contractors Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills Strong project management abilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and client management Experience developing details and producing construction documents from design concepts Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and delegate tasks effectively Familiarity with contract and billing procedures Experience generating and reviewing FF&E and construction budgets How to Apply Please
