We are seeking an Engineering Team Lead for tenant fit-out projects in Data Center/Mission Critical work. You will provide technical engineering oversight and design team management for assigned projects, with leadership in financials, resources, logistics, and mentoring staff.

Understand project requirements and develop a design fee for the work requested. Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering and production resources. Oversee Engineers, Designers and Modeling staff assigned to team or project work. Communicate with Project Manager or Executive regarding effort required to achieve deliverables; develop requests for additional services as needed. Lead the Engineering CAC effort and interaction with the project PM. Resolve complex design problems and coordinate with authorities and stakeholders. Coordinate with city, state, and county officials and other regulatory agencies. Attend project design meetings with the Design Build Team and perform site visits to review installation or assess conditions. Perform Value Engineering studies; act as Engineer of Record for projects within responsibility. Other responsibilities as assigned within the position’s role. What You Bring To Us

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences. Typically 8+ years of Electrical Engineering “tenant fit-out” experience. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the US is required. Field experience is strongly recommended. Education and experience can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Competencies

Power Distribution & Systems: knowledge of critical power infrastructure (transformers, switchgear, UPS, batteries, diesel generators). Load Management: ability to balance electrical loads to prevent oversubscription and equipment failure. Design & Modeling: proficiency in electrical system design, single-line diagrams, load flow, short circuit, and coordination studies; experience with ETAP/SKM; BIM 360 or similar. Standards & Codes: understanding of NEC and applicable codes and regulations. Blueprints & Terminology: ability to interpret SLDs, construction drawings, and data center terminology. Software Proficiency: experience with electrical design software and commissioning tools. What You’ll Need To Be Successful

Knowledge of engineering processes and calculations (loads, layouts, HV/MV distribution, lighting, grounding, value engineering, codes/standards). Working knowledge of equipment testing and commissioning. Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail; ability to coordinate with others and manage complex engineering problems. Experience overseeing Electrical System Studies (Short Circuit, Overcurrent, Arc Flash, Voltage Drop). Management skills: work planning, resource management, fee development, staff oversight and development, prioritization under time pressure. Knowledge of electrical construction and local Building Codes; proficiency with Microsoft Office; Oracle preferred. Effective in teamwork, communication, and professional interaction with all levels of staff, vendors, clients, and partners. Travel

Up to 15% travel (local field visits included). Working Conditions
