Overview Product Director, Community Notes & Misinformation at Meta. This is a senior, hands-on product leader role that will own the vision, strategy, and execution for Community Notes. You will lead a high-leverage team of product managers and work to build an effective, credible, and scaled system that can withstand public scrutiny and earn the trust of users, policymakers, and journalists.

Define the North Star: Own and articulate the long-term product vision and strategy for Community Notes, balancing scale, quality, fairness, and speed. Lead Product Execution: Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, researchers, designers, and policy experts to execute against an ambitious roadmap. Build a Scaled System: Drive the core flywheel, including contributor onboarding and retention loops, bridging-based consensus algorithms, and optimize the viewer experience. Champion Transparency: Partner with Policy, Legal, and Communications to develop a transparency strategy, including public reports, open-sourcing algorithms, and data-sharing programs for researchers. Make Principled, Data-Driven Decisions: Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to make trade-offs that sustain contributor health and output quality. Internal and External Leadership: Serve as the primary product voice for Community Notes with Meta's senior leadership and external stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in product management Experience scaling early-stage product initiatives Experience shipping consumer-facing products reaching millions of users Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and external stakeholders Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience in Trust & Safety, Misinformation, or Civic Integrity Experience building successful community-powered or marketplace products Experience shipping AI/ML-driven ranking, classification, or recommendations Ability to work with Public Policy, Legal, and Communications on sensitive launches About Meta Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
