Design and develop systems, processes, tooling to validate, prototype, and implement new capabilities in partnership with cross functional teams Implement runtime logic and tooling within a complex real-time environment with performance considerations in mind Optimize content by enhancing performance and instructing artists and designers on asset creation, modeling and texturing best practices Analyze project timelines and resource allocation, proposing adjustments to optimize production schedules through technology and process enhancements Document workflows, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across teams Communicate and advocate for the technical system’s role in building a platform that serves billions of users Provide and receive constructive feedback, define next steps, and communicate clear goals and outcomes to the team Minimum Qualifications

6+ years of experience developing real-time experiences across different products Experience in at least one low-level programming language (i.e. C++) Understanding of architecture for complex tools and pipelines with a focus on content creators Expertise with game/real-time profiling and optimization techniques Demonstrated experience in communicating technical topics to non-technical partners Understanding of AI and ML concepts at a core level. (data collection, model training, deployment, runtime performance) Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience designing and implementing real-time graphics technologies, and their corresponding authoring tools Experience with performance profiling and optimizing assets within tight performance budgets Proven experience validating rendering outputs to ensure shading consistency on various platforms Experience with real-time lighting concepts, color science, color space, exposure, tone mapping, and post-processing effects Experience partnering with cross-functional teams of artists, designers and engineers to design end-to-end workflows and authoring tools Experience in low level programming languages such as C or C++, in addition to scripting languages such as Python About Meta Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
