Position Overview We are seeking a
Director, Human Resources
to join our team
onsite in Tustin, CA . The successful candidate will be the primary liaison to the Executive Team, provide strategic HR guidance, and ensure alignment between HR initiatives and overall business objectives, while fostering a high-performing, engaged workforce. This position maintains direct responsibility for the success of each direct report under the Human Resources Department.
Responsibilities
Represent HR on the Executive Team; explain and interpret HR programs, policies, and activities; negotiate and resolve sensitive, significant, and complex issues with Executive Leadership
Lead HR staff in executing organization-wide initiatives that align with business priorities
Provide clear direction on HR department goals, objectives, mission, and KPIs to ensure measurable results
Champion company culture, values, and employee engagement initiatives across DWT
Drive talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent, including executive-level recruitment
Oversee compensation and benefits strategy to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness
Oversee performance management systems in alignment with company requirements, ensuring consistent application across the organization
Oversee disciplinary action as well as terminations in compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations
Coach managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee relations and development efforts
Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
Other reasonable duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
Minimum 7 years progressive experience in Human Resources, including at least 5 years in a HR leadership role; experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong knowledge of employment laws, federal/California state compliance requirements, and best practices
Ability to influence senior leaders and drive business results through people and culture initiatives
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience supporting organizations through change, growth, and transformation is highly desirable
PHR/SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred
