Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to lead and execute capital projects in our manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with a strong background in equipment installations, facility layout upgrades, and cross-functional project leadership. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from concept through commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead Capital Projects from scope development to implementation, focusing on equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant layout modifications. Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments. Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects, balancing scope, resources, and timelines across cross-functional teams. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, production, quality, safety, and external contractors. Oversee equipment procurement, vendor selection, and manage installation processes. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for layout improvements and space optimization. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies during all phases of the project. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and lead project meetings. Develop and maintain technical documentation including P&IDs, layouts, and SOPs. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce downtime. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven experience leading capital projects, including budget and timeline management. Hands-on experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and process improvement. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and MS Project or equivalent project management tools. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, safety practices, and lean principles. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: PMP certification or formal project management training Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies Familiarity with beverage-specific equipment (e.g., bottling lines, pasteurizers, mixers) SE#510752572
