Location: Chandler, AZ (PST/MST Time Zone - Remote)

Job Summary

The ServiceNow Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure, and optimize ServiceNow solutions. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, mapping processes, designing solutions, supporting configuration, coordinating testing, and driving user adoption. The analyst will focus on ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, and related ServiceNow modules while ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements for ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB).
  • Map business processes, propose improvements, and design workflows using ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with developers/architects to design solutions.
  • Create user stories, process flows, and documentation.
  • Support ServiceNow configuration (business rules, workflows, reports, dashboards).
  • Coordinate and manage UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Provide training, support, and assist with change management during upgrades/enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years as Business Analyst, with 3+ years in ServiceNow implementations.
  • ServiceNow Expertise: ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB modules.
  • Business Analysis: Requirements gathering, process modeling, user stories, workflows, documentation.
  • Communication: Strong verbal/written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Framework Knowledge: ITIL familiarity highly beneficial.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow CSA and/or Business Analyst certifications (CBAP, IIBA) desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP).
  • Familiarity with CSM features (Case Management, Portals, Omnichannel, Virtual Agent).
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Performance Analytics, or data migration/integration.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and ServiceNow integration.
