Role Description We currently have an excellent opportunity for a full-time child therapy postdoctoral fellow in our NYC office for the 2026 - 2027 year who has expertise in providing comprehensive evidence-based therapy to children and adolescents with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, mood challenges, selective mutism, ADHD, OCD, and others. The clinical postdoctoral fellow will work under the supervision of one of our senior clinical psychologists and will develop treatment plans based on clinician interviews and initial assessment, communicate results to family members, patients, and referring professionals, and schools, and provide high quality therapy interventions. We would love to expand our team's clinical breadth of expertise with a new team member who specializes in fields of practice that would strengthen or diversify the services we can provide. Qualifications Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology Completion of an APA-approved clinical pre-doctoral internship and externship in child-focused cognitive behavioral therapy New York State psychology learning permit by the beginning of employment Flexibility with work schedule to meet productivity goals and deadlines Team player with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Prior experience providing comprehensive cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavior therapy, and other evidence-based treatments Demonstrated experience in working clinically with complex co-morbid presentations, including mood, anxiety, personality, and other psychiatric disorders Demonstrated experience with professional writing as well as with public speaking Motivated self-starter with great attitude, flexibility, and enterprising spirit Ability to work under pressure to prioritize and manage workload, manage simultaneous tasks, and meet deadlines within a fast-paced and changing environment Strong teamwork ethic; positive, flexible attitude; ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities Interest in working with a community of other strong clinicans and experts in a warm, supportive and highly collaborative community Compensation is a competitive percentage of gross income based on experience.
