Location: Meriden, CT

Shift: Nights (NOC) | 3x12s | 36 hrs/week
On Call: None
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend, rotating holidays
Float: Possible float between Critical Care and PCU. Rate will be determined by manager based on experience and whether ICU float is required.

Position Summary:
The Progressive Care Unit RN provides comprehensive care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. Nurses in this role must be prepared to float between PCU and Critical Care as needed, depending on skills and facility requirements.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years Step-Down or PCU experience – Preferred

• Epic EMR experience – Strongly Preferred

• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (must be ONE YEAR certification, not two year) – Required

• BLS & ACLS – Required

• Ability to float to ICU if needed – Preferred

Hours/Week: 36 hrs (3x12s)
Shift Times: Nights (12 hours)
