Job Description
The Patternmaker will
own making patterns for special projects in our sample sewing room. Inclusive of all product categories.
The Technical Designer, Patternmaker will communicate with the Sample Sewing Manager to build custom patterns from scratch and alter existing style patterns for special projects.
There is opportunity for an additional breadth of responsibilities in this role as we continue to grow as a brand.
What you'll get to do:
Develop initial to final patterns for special apparel projects.
Ability to create custom fit patterns.
Lead fit process/sessions for special apparel projects.
Maintain style tech packs in excel/PLM.
Ability to measure garments and patterns to ensure quality.
Ability to make fit samples or work closely with sample makers to create fit samples and to give direction on sample sewing/construction.
Meet product development deadlines and schedules.
Stays up to date with industry trends, changes to pattern making software programs, fabric and garment construction.
Qualifications: Qualifications
Who you are:
Degree in patternmaking, or related field and/or equivalent years of experience preferred.
5+ years’ experience in patternmaking roles. Background and experience must include garment construction and grading knowledge and technical design experience.
Must have experience with pattern CAD software (example: Gerber, Optitex, 3D V-Stitcher / Browzswear).
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Must have good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
Must be able to work proficiently in Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
Knowledge PLM is a plus

The salary range for this role is $93,400 per year - $120,120 per year.
