Are you a passionate cook ready to make a difference in a vibrant dining environment? Westminster Place is on the lookout for a dynamic Cook to join our team! In this role, you’ll prepare high-quality food in line with federal, state, and local standards, as well as our own established policies and procedures. Reporting to the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Director of Dining Service, you’ll ensure that every meal meets our high standards of excellence. Why Choose Us? Maintaining proper portioning, plating, and presentation standards
Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed
Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
Collaborating with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation
Adapting menus and recipes for special dietary requirements or requests
Skills/Qualifications: High School degree or equivalent preferred Food Handler certified preferred Some cooking experience in a health care setting preferred Ability to speak, read, and write English
