Banner Principal Atlantica Development is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Project Developer
to lead the full lifecycle of utility-scale renewable energy projects—including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS)—from initial concept through “Ready-to-Build” (RTB) status. This individual will serve as the primary owner of assigned projects, driving coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders to meet key milestones on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Coordination Serve as the principal point of contact and owner for assigned renewable energy projects, managing them through the full development lifecycle. Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project development schedules, budgets, and internal reporting tools. Lead coordination across development pillars, including:
Land acquisition Permitting and environmental compliance Engineering and design Interconnection and grid coordination Finance and offtake Policy and regulations
Prepare and issue scopes of work to consultants; manage contracts, invoices, and deliverables. Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure timely communication and alignment with key internal and external stakeholders. Conduct site visits and attend meetings as necessary (travel required). Engineering & Technical Analysis Lead early-stage conceptual design and 10% engineering layouts using software such as Rated Power, Solar GIS, AutoCAD, or similar design tools. Analyze site characteristics and constraints to determine project feasibility and optimal layout. Assist with technology and equipment selection (e.g., modules, inverters, BESS units, transformers), ensuring cost-effectiveness and constructability. Collaborate with internal and third-party engineers to review and refine layouts, energy yields, and interconnection solutions. Apply critical thinking and technical acumen to optimize project performance and economics.
