Overview Transdev in Boston, MA is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for its Boston Public Schools transportation contract. The Human Resources Generalist will assist unit leadership in the administration and communication of HR policies and procedures, and handling compliance issues.

Compensation package of $61,750.00 (minimum) to $77,000.00 (maximum) per year (exempt). Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks Sick days: 5 days Holidays: 12 days; 9 standard and 3 floating Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability Benefits may vary depending on location policy. Key Responsibilities

Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to recruitment and onboarding Consult with management staff on human resource issues related to hiring, compensation, training and development, disciplinary actions, and terminations Develop and revise job descriptions; coordinate recruitment and full-cycle onboarding in an ATS system including resume screening, phone interviews, in-person interviews, and applicant correspondence Ensure compliance with E-Verify and new employee set-up Assist with the administration and tracking of benefits, leaves of absences, and workplace accommodations Handle administrative tasks including entering data into HRIS; establish and maintain the accuracy and compliance of employee records by both manual data entry and auditing of the database for all employee record changes including, but not limited to status changes, pay rate changes, address changes, new hires, terminations, and tax withholdings Process and assist employees with unemployment claims Interpret and assist with the understanding of human resource policies and procedures Ensure all personnel records are accurately maintained including maintenance of proper records and documentation of required training, certifications, and compliance; respond to requests for personnel records Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports Provide administrative support to the unit management staff Maintain confidentiality of all information Perform other duties as required Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent, such as a G.E.D., required Two (2) years of relevant human resource experience, including recruiting, selection, and/or benefits administration Understanding of employment laws and regulations Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to read, understand, and interpret instructions, policies, and procedures Strong written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills HRIS, ADP, and investigative experience preferred Physical Requirements
