Role Overview We are seeking a Medical Biller with an ENT specialty focus to join our team at Currence. This role is the financial heartbeat of our revenue cycle operation: ensuring claims are submitted cleanly, payments are posted accurately, and denials are resolved with persistence and precision. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, solutions-focused, and thrives on making sure providers are paid for the care they deliver. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit clean electronic and paper claims for ENT, Allergy, Audiology, and Sleep Medicine services. Review claims for accuracy and compliance with payer requirements before submission. Post payments and adjustments promptly; reconcile balances to ensure financial accuracy. Investigate denied or unpaid claims, submit appeals, and follow through until resolution. Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, providers, and patients regarding billing inquiries. Proactively monitor A/R aging reports and prioritize high-value or at-risk claims. Stay informed on payer rules, reimbursement policies, and industry changes. Protect patient confidentiality and maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred. 2+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare or revenue cycle environment (ENT billing strongly preferred). Proficiency with EMR/EHR and billing systems (ECW, Epic, or AdvancedMD experience a plus). Strong understanding of payer claim submission, denial management, and EOB reconciliation. Excellent communication skills and a professional, patient-focused demeanor. Ability to balance speed with accuracy while managing multiple priorities. Team player who can also work independently in a hybrid/remote environment. Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$23.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
