Job Description Salary: 18.00 Job Title: Commercial Roofing Helper / Warehouse Associate Reports To: Roofing Superintendent / Warehouse Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Commercial Roofing Helper / Warehouse Associate. This dual role supports both our roofing crews on-site and our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will assist roofers with jobsite tasks, handle material preparation and delivery, and ensure proper organization, cleanliness, and inventory control in the warehouse. This position requires reliability, attention to safety, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities: On the Roof (Field Support) Assist roofing crews with material handling, setup, and cleanup on commercial roofing projects. Load and unload roofing materials, ensuring safe transport and placement. Carry tools and materials to roof levels and assist with staging for work areas. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Support roofers with tear-offs, insulation placement, and other hands-on tasks as directed. In the Warehouse Receive, organize, and store roofing materials, tools, and equipment. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Track, label, and maintain accurate inventory records. Pull and prepare materials for upcoming jobs. Keep warehouse organized, safe, and clean. Perform routine checks on equipment and tools, reporting maintenance needs.

Qualifications: Previous roofing or warehouse experience preferred but not required; training provided. Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, heights). Willingness to work at heights and follow strict safety guidelines. Forklift or equipment experience a plus (will train if needed). Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 5075 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and reach frequently during the workday. Ability to work at heights on ladders, scaffolds, and rooftops. Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain).

Work Environment: Split between warehouse setting and outdoor commercial roofing jobsites. Exposure to varying weather conditions, heights, and physical labor.
