About the Role:
We're excited to share a new opportunity within our Engineering and Technical Services team. CBRE is currently hiring for a full-time Electrician to support our Healthcare sector, partnering with a community-focused healthcare organization committed to innovation and excellence.
The Electrician will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, electrical equipment across assigned healthcare facilities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations of facility systems.
You will be servicing several area locations.

What You'll Do:
Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
I/R (infrared) scanning using thermal imaging cameras to inspect electrical equipment for "hot spots," which indicate potential problems.
Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner.
Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
Have a broad knowledge of own job subject area and some knowledge of several job subject areas within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
What You'll Need:

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.

Journeyman Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes.

Valid Driver's license required.

Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive perspective.

Advanced math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages discounts and commissions.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including
a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position
is or $38.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is
$55.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate
will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
