Universal Surveying and Mapping is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Licensed Surveyor to join our team in the Oklahoma City Metro. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, preparing accurate maps and legal descriptions, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Conduct boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys using GPS, total stations, and other survey equipment. * Interpret deeds, plats, titles, and other legal records to establish and verify property boundaries. * Prepare survey plats, maps, and legal descriptions for submission to clients and regulatory agencies. * Provide construction staking and layout support for infrastructure and development projects. * Ensure all survey work complies with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and standards of practice. * Manage, train, and oversee survey field crews and technicians. * Utilize CAD and GIS software to process survey data and produce deliverables. * Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and government officials. * Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of all surveys performed. * Stay current on industry standards, laws, and emerging technologies.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Current and valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License in Oklahoma. * DOT Experience preferred. * Bachelor’s degree in surveying, civil engineering, or related field preferred. * Experience leading and executing roadway, bridge, and public infrastructure projects. * Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, or other surveying software. * Strong understanding of land use laws, regulations, and survey standards.
