Job Title: Software Engineer Location: Huntsville, AL (Onsite) Salary Range: $65 - $75/hr Introduction Join a passionate and highly-motivated team at the forefront of national defense. We are seeking talented individuals to contribute to the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team Program, supporting the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) and the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) mission. Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered) * Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 * Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer engineering, or computer science * 9 years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor's, 7 years with a Master's, or 4 years with a PhD * Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills * Familiarity with the Agile software development process * Experience with Java, or Java Spring * Active Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required) * Experienced in the full life-cycle development of complex mathematical algorithms for Java-based military applications * Ability to implement MATLAB-based algorithms into Java-based software Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role) * Contribute to the design and development of Java-based mathematical algorithms in support of the C2BMC * Support full software development lifecycle including generating design artifacts, implementing software changes, and supporting design and code reviews * Participate in agile planning and execution using established processes * Develop, select, tailor, and deploy integration and test processes, tools, and metrics * Execute and document integration and test activities and events * Work onsite 100% with potential domestic travel up to 10% Company Benefits & Culture * Comprehensive benefits package * Inclusive and diverse work environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex or send your resume at
