IN- OFFICE POSTION. Senior Staff Accountant Southwest Medical Resources was founded in 2004. Since its launch, Southwest has grown into a worldwide independent service organization specializing in MRI, CT, and PET /CT imaging equipment. Our company growth has extended the need for a House manager to assist in the management of our home. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex accounting tasks, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Our ideal candidate will have experience in company audits and in managing an accounting department. Senior Staff Account Benefits: · (401K) Retirement account, up to 3% matching · Phone allowance $50.Medical, Dental and Vision insurance · Senior Staff Account Job Responsibilities · Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries. · Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and oversight on complex accounting issues. · Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure financial integrity and identify potential areas for improvement. · Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit processes and requirements. · Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. · Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. · Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal tax reporting and regulations. · Develop and implement robust accounting procedures and processes to enhance operational efficiency. · Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning and decision-making. · Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic business decisions. · - Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the financial reporting system. · - Lead special projects assigned to support business development and operational improvements. · - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards and regulations. Senior Staff Account Job Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field · Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred · Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience · Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) · Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) · Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis · Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions · Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance · Shift: Full-Time
