As a Security Guard - Patrol Specialist in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will involve conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any concerns that may arise. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity in and around the location.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide support to clients, employees, and visitors.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
- Complete required documentation and reports related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
- Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while performing duties at financial institution locations.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
