Edge Specialty Services is hiring: Yard Mechanic in Midland

Job Overview:

• The Operations Manager for the Oilfield Yard will oversee and manage all day-to-day activities within the yard, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, personnel, and logistics to meet project deadlines. This position is based at our Midland yard and plays a critical role in maintaining and servicing company trucks, trailers, and vehicles to keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, and yard vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs in a timely manner
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is safe and compliant
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support other yard operations as needed

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Weekends as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with diesel trucks and trailers
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Must have own basic tools
• Valid driver’s license
