Electrical Engineer II–III
(level based on experience) to design, review, and oversee electrical and communications systems for new construction, renovations, and retrofits of building and infrastructure projects. Experience with Department of Defense facilities and knowledge of active military requirements is considered a strong asset. Key Responsibilities: Design electrical and communications systems for building and infrastructure projects.
Perform quality control reviews of designs and construction documents.
Prepare design plans, project specifications, and cost estimates.
Conduct site visits to document conditions and support project execution.
Review consultant-prepared drawings and provide technical guidance.
Assist in planning, designing, and monitoring new construction, renovations, and improvements.
Serve as a technical consultant on facilities planning, design, construction, and maintenance.
Support contract administration, including evaluating bids and preparing construction payment estimates.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred; ability to obtain licensure by comity in other states.
5+ years of experience in electrical and communications design and/or construction.
LEED-AP certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of applicable building and design codes.
Experience managing construction contracts and large-scale projects.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, CAD, and discipline-specific software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships.
