Job Responsibilities: The Engineering Coordinator supports and organizes engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, documentation, and compliance standards are met. This role manages work orders, scheduling, and billing while facilitating communication between internal teams, distributors, and customers to keep projects on track and successfully delivered.
What You Will Contribute: Project Coordination; build, update, and manage project timelines Manage engineering activity, cases, work orders and PIR’s by creating new cases based on new machine orders and new engineering tasks (time estimates, AE sales calls, etc.). all information is correct, and documents are put stored per compliance standards. Assist in creating engineering work-orders for projects. Create Salesforce Service appointments & dispatching AE’s. Track the engineering team’s labor and travel time for training, pre-sales work, turnkey’s, etc. Attend and support in project meetings and other meetings are needed. Coordinate customer and internal company trainings for the engineering department. Create and keep updated relevant supporting presentation documents Turnkey quotes, training quotes, machine layout drawings, onboarding and training new engineering employees on forms, documents, policies, processes etc. Billing for Engineering Projects (if an AE goes out and does a project, a non capital sales project, John quotes and gets PO’s all the time – but this person will do the billing) Develop engineering relationships and maintain communication between end users and distributors. Keep engineering projects and schedules on track, holding engineers accountable for projects and timelines. Assist in event coordination (open houses, trade shows, etc.) Ensure engineering projects and activities are efficiently and effectively planned for and implemented. This starts at customer request / PO and ends at customer sign off / payment. Activities to include but not be limited to: initiate kick off meetings, ensure ordering of tooling / work holding is on time / within budget, critical achievements are met. Develop and distribute (with inputs from key collaborators) engineering project timelines with all collaborators and keep them current throughout.

Qualifications & Competencies: Prior experience in a Customer Service role Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Proven track record with prioritizing multiple tasks at once. Strong collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written Proven ability to prioritize tasks successfully. Proficient in Microsoft Suite Salesforce experience preferred, but not required.
