Personal Lines Senior Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Personal Lines Senior Account Manager
to join a team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in personal property and casualty insurance. The successful candidate will independently manage client services, deliver renewal messaging, and provide expert recommendations to clients. This position is based in-office and offers the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a leading insurance brokerage firm.
Compensation Package
Salary Range : $60,000 - $68,000 annually 401(k) Responsibilities
Evaluate exposures and renewal quotes. Review upcoming renewals and determine accounts requiring remarketing. Make informed coverage recommendations to clients. Utilize comparative rater tools to obtain quotes. Handle agency billing transactions where applicable. Obtain signed binding documents and notify carriers. Review binding documents for accuracy. Conduct contract reviews. Expand accounts by cross-selling additional services. Other Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate account details, contacts, and policy information in EPIC. Process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and proofs of insurance. Organize and attach documents in EPIC. Initiate endorsements, proofs of insurance, and invoices. Generate standard client and carrier communications using templates. Create and assign activities in EPIC. Pull relevant reports such as MVR, CLUES, Risk Meters, and RCE as needed. Qualifications/Requirements
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in personal property and casualty insurance. Comprehensive understanding of insurance coverages. Licenses/Certifications:
Must hold a valid state Property & Casualty insurance license. Essential Skills/Competencies:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, charts, tables), Word, and other MS Office products. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology platforms. Experience with agency management systems and carrier sites. Strong customer service skills with a hands-on, personal approach. Effective team player with the ability to build trust and support peers. Deep understanding of client requirements, market trends, and industry standards. High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with EPIC software. 2+ years of relevant experience.
