(Taylorsville, NC) 1st Shift – Laminator Operator (Aerospace Industry) Laminator Operator
Schedule: 1st shift: Monday to Friday 7:00 am –3:30 pm.
Laminator Operator Qualifications: 3+ years’ lamination, printing, and/or coating experience. Experience operating mixing equipment, oxidizers, or slitters is a plus. Mechanical aptitude is a plus. Experience with Excel spreadsheets is required for data entry. Knowledge of Adhesive formulations is a plus. Forklift experience is preferred.
Laminator Operator
Responsibilities: Work as part of a 3-man
laminating/mixing/printing
crew. Monitor quality of raw materials as well as finished goods. Provide samples to quality control personnel as required. Move, load, and unload inventory and other materials and equipment utilizing a variety of motorized forklifts and manual handling devices. Perform change-over activities, including roll and adhesive clean-up. Record data transactions related to the use, production, and movement of materials. Assist in maintenance, slitting, and traffic as needed and directed. Special projects and assignments as needed. Set up machine controls in accordance with SOP. Monitor adhesive level, lay-down, material tracking, and oven temp. Monitor all machine settings, controls & readouts. Preparation of the coater for each product run.
