The Supervisor will perform daily inspections of the property, including the pools and pool houses, common areas and Clubhouse. The Supervisor, along with the Department Manager, will be responsible for overseeing the training of all custodians and grounds and monitoring their work performance. The Supervisor assists the Department Manager with the creation of the weekly schedule for the custodians and grounds. The Supervisor will be the primary point of contact for common areas projects. When necessary, the Supervisor may also be required to perform the cleaning and servicing of buildings to include exterior windows, patios, doors, lights, walkways, elevators, doors, floors, ceiling fans and lights to prescribed standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS: Assist manager by Assigning duties and creating employee schedules for all custodians and grounds personnel. Daily inspection of property including the pools and pool houses, common areas and clubhouse. Managing special projects for all common areas (pressure-washing, blowing of parking areas, etc.). Overseeing the training and monitoring the work performance of all custodians. Manage/administer preventive maintenance on all related equipment, tools, trash carts, etc. Managing the storage areas and inventory of
supplies/chemicals,
maintaining budgetary
standards/guidelines. Respond to guest requests; problem resolution. Additional duties as determined. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a minimum of two years of experience in vacation ownership industry or comparable experience in Custodial, Housekeeping, or Support Services. Individual must also be able to demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills. Must maintain comprehensive knowledge of resort policies, procedures, and operations and ensure communication of relevant information, as required. Must possess a sincere dedication to provide an unsurpassed level of owner and guest satisfaction. Possess strong organization and leadership skills that provide an ability to make timely decisions under stressful conditions. Must demonstrate a commitment to the continuous development of his/her team. Must have a high degree of judgment. Must have demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to anticipate, prevent, and solve problems; manage people, projects, time, and quality; motivate and lead team with diverse skill levels; multi-task; and set priorities. Must have an active driver's license with at least one year of driving experience.
