Job position description : Monday - Friday no nights or weekends. Work Schedule where you will be 8:30 am to 5:30 pm each day. Our Carolina Forest center is seeking a
Toddler Floater

As a
Toddler Floater
you have the ability to work in our
Toddler classrooms
and across the center as needed therefore, flexibility is a must. Step in to assist or lead during staff breaks, absences, or busy times. You are able to follow classroom schedules and lesson plans. You need to be able to implement conscious discipline strategies while setting clear boundaries and using positive discipline techniques. Collaborate with co-teachers to adapt activities to meet the needs and interests of each child. Monitoring childrens behavior and record daily activities, incidents, and developmental progress. Plan hands-on, sensory-rich, and imaginative activities and adapting activities to meet the needs and interests of each child. Engage toddlers in play-based and curriculum learning, routines, and transitions. There needs to be constant supervision and awareness of surroundings as toddlers are very active. Respond accordingly to changing schedules or classroom needs. Provide consistent, nurturing guidance while modeling emotional regulation for toddlers.
You must be able to communicate effectively with both parents and staff. You will maintain a learning environment that is safe and inviting for our young learners. Make sure you follow all hygiene and sanitation protocols while diapering and handling food. You will need to manage a fast-paced environment with energy and focus. Physical demands are lifting, bending, sitting on the floor, and keeping up with active toddlers.
Job Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent required (ECE coursework or CDA preferred)
Experience working with toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting
NSC Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Must pass background check and meet all state/local licensing requirements
