MaineGeneral Medical Center, located in Augusta, Maine serves patients from over 88 cities and towns throughout the Kennebec Valley region and beyond. The Emergency Medicine team provides care at two campuses: the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta and the Thayer Center for Health in Waterville, both providing 24/7 emergency care.

PHYSICIAN EMERGENCY MEDICINE

• Flexible Scheduling
  • 14, 9 hour shifts per month (full time) (or the number of shifts per month that suits you best)
  • Additional shifts available
• Clinical medical backup available from a staff of 250 physicians, including Adult and Pediatric Hospitalist teams.
• Teaching opportunities with Residents and Fellows
• Educational Loan Assistance for up to 12 years
• Continuing Medical Education - time and allowance
• Wellness Programs (physical, emotional, and financial)
