Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Locum Tenens - Cardiothoracic PA Opportunity in Orlando, FloridaPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) with an active Florida license to join a busy and growing Cardiothoracic Surgery service line in Orlando. This is a locum tenens assignment working alongside a highly collaborative team of APPs and surgeons.Assignment Details

• Start Date: Within 30-60 days
• Duration: 3-4 months
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, plus call as needed
• Setting: Clinic, OR, and CVICU coverage
• EMR: EPIC

Clinical Responsibilities

• First assist in the operating room, including vein harvest procedures
• Support the cardiothoracic surgical team in clinic, inpatient, and ICU settings
• Work closely with a collegial group of APPs and surgeons in a robust service line experiencing significant growth

Qualifications

• Board-certified Physician Assistant
• Active Florida license required
• OR first assist experience with proven vein harvest skills
