Locums NP/PA - Orthopedic Surgery Clinic + Call Marshfield, WI Why This Role
- Consistent two-week blocks of orthopedic coverage each month
- Balanced schedule of OR, clinic, and trauma call coverage
- Strong support staff in a Level II trauma center Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
- Schedule: Approx. two weeks/month, alternating with another locum
- Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient
- EMR: Cerner
- Privileges: Required (temporary available)
- Estimated Credentialing: 60 days
- Patient Volumes: 15-20 per shift
- Trauma Level: II
- Support Staff: 3 RNs, 8 MAs, 8 APPs, 8 office staff Requirements
- Board Certified NP/PA - Orthopedic Surgery
- Active Wisconsin license (or in process)
- BLS
- 2+ years of primary call coverage experience at a Level I or II trauma center
- Clean file for privileging Clinical Details
- Surgical first assist in orthopedics
- Outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding
- Call coverage including trauma cases
- Case Mix: General orthopedics, trauma, fracture management, post-op follow-up Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
