and Scope: The Inventory Lead plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating all aspects of inventory control within the organization. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the inventory team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with inventory management policies and procedures. Inventory Lead is responsible for leading, by example, training team members, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in inventory management practices. Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the inventory team in maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing stock levels. Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to inventory team members to ensure understanding of inventory processes and procedures. Assign tasks and prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of inventory-related activities. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the inventory team. Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management, warehouse layout, and workflow efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and best practices. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, stock turnover, and fulfillment rates, and develop action plans to address any issues. Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and trends for management review. Analyze inventory data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Communicate insights and recommendations to management to support informed decision-making. Liaise with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and logistics, to coordinate inventory-related activities and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and inventory availability. #ZR

Qualifications Education/ Training: High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred Technical Requirements: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or related roles, with demonstrated leadership experience.
