Maintenance Technician – Molding (Day and Night Shift) Buffalo Grove, IL | Full-Time | Hourly
Pay Rate - $30-$38/hr
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift, 6PM–6AM or 6PM-6AM
About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support injection molding operations. You’ll handle mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting, perform preventive maintenance, and keep production running smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Do:
Diagnose and repair molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Perform preventive and corrective maintenance Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow all safety procedures (including Lock Out/Tag Out and 5S) Use inspection tools and perform quality checks Enter work orders in SAP and assist with TPM activities Collaborate with other technicians and support teams to solve issues What You Bring:
3+ years in a hands-on technical role Experience with injection molding maintenance Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and electrical controls Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, climb ladders, and stand/walk throughout the shift Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with basic tools Good communication and teamwork abilities Environment: Clean manufacturing setting with moderate noise; PPE and cleanroom attire required.
